Enable Down Scaling In Windows

While testing Windows 8 on my Samsung NF210 Netbook I found out that in order to run certain Windows Apps we need a resolution greater than 1024x768. The standard maximum resolution for most Netbooks are 1024x600. I used the following steps to enable Display Down Scaling and increase my screen resolution. Use the Windows + R Keys and run the registry editor command "Regedit". Use the Ctrl + F Keys and find "Display1_DownScalingSupported". You will usually find one or two instances on the above, Change the Value Data field to 1 in each of them. Once you restart your computer you will be able to set higher resolutions now.
